WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE CHAMPS INTERNATIONAL

We value the uniqueness of each child and that is why we follow systematic observation and ongoing assessment of each child's achievements and learning processes. This helps teachers also to take corrective action. Individual feedback to the children is the part of the system which enables them to learn at their own pace.

Growing economy of our country has created many business opportunities and education sector has emerged as one of the major contributor to these business opportunities in India, subsequently growing the segment of quality-conscious parents. At Cambridge Champs, we train students with an international curriculum, to make them a global citizen for tomorrow. Our teaching methods based on experiential learning leads to effective development of the child's cognitive skills and easy understanding of concepts.

www.cambridgechamps.com"Cambridge Champs International is offering several innovative methods in early childhood education where young children are considered as CHAMPS and respected as competent thinkers and communicators who are offered many opportunities to engage with a range of resources to improve and challenge their thinking.
We follow Activity-based-Experiential learning inspired by globally accepted best teaching
practices of Reggio Emilia, Montessori and Kindergarten.
The principle role of our curriculum is to create conditions so that talent can flower and knowledge is created within the child by the child

We follow four guiding principles for curriculum development:

  • Connecting knowledge to life outside the school.
  • Ensuring that learning shifts away from rote methods.
  • Enriching the curriculum so it goes beyond text books.
  • Making examinations more flexible and integrating them with classroom lifeLearning is not just growth in knowledge. It is the visible change in attitudes, behavior and skills as a result of all the experiences either planned or unplanned.
  • Learning doesn't happen only in the confines of the classroom.
  • Every individual can learn…..different things at different times.

OUR APPROACH

The Experimental Approach:

Our approach is 'hands-on". We transact our curriculum through the fundamental approach of learning by doing or learning by being engaged either physically or mentally.

The Multiple Intelligence Approach:

  • Linguistic intelligence
  • Logical-mathematical intelligence
  • Musical intelligence
  • Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence

STRUCTURE OF OUR CURRICULUM

www.cambridgechamps.comThe Cambridge Champs International Pre-School program for ages 1 1/2 to 6 year old is built around six core areas:

  1. Personal, Social and Emotional Development: To provide a smooth transition into the wider world from home and to be able to manage and take care of oneself. The end objective is to develop a strong self image & esteem in each child.
  2. Knowledge and Understanding of the World: To be able to find out the significance of the environment, people & places in their lives. By using problem solving skills, experimentation, prediction, questioning and decision making a child can co-relate himself with the world he lives in.
  3. Mathematical Development: To develop their understanding of number, patterns, shapes and space through exploration & practice.
  4. Language, Communication & Literacy Development: To be able to explore and enjoy the use of words in languages. To use language to communicate and express oneself and as well as learn to listen carefully to others.
